About Angie

Welcome! Bienvenidos!

Angie King, 200-Hour RYT, has been practicing yoga for over 10 years, and teaching for over 5 years. Angie was an athlete her whole life playing field hockey, lacrosse, and competitive swimming. She found her yoga practice as a college field hockey athlete and immediately found relief in the practice. After being a competitive athlete for years, Angie was intrigued by the non-judgmental practice and self-study encouraged by yoga. It was a new and intriguing way to interface with her body, and knew that this practice felt like home.

Angie offers a blend of vinyasa yoga, hatha yoga, mobility, flexibility and functional movement principles in her classes. Typically, Angie's vinyasa classes begin with grounded postures to slowly warm the body up for practice, followed by energizing sequences linking breath with movement. The practice then slows down fostering mobility, flexibility and deep breathing. All classes end with a grounded savasana to seal in the efforts of the practice. Angie’s teaching style is rooted in functional movement principles and has a technical and posture focused lens. Angie tailors her classes to all levels and abilities, providing a safe space to practice for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike.

Angie completed her first 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2021 at Sangha Studio in Burlington, VT. She was immediately curious for more education and experience which led her to begin studying with Jason Crandell. Angie completed Jason Crandell's 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in 2023. She also completed supplemental trainings with Jason Crandell including Mastering the Art of Yoga Sequencing (2021) and A Better Way to Flow: Preventing and Managing Common Yoga Injuries. Angie continues to study with Jason Crandell and is enrolled in his 300-Hour Teacher Training in 2026.

In addition to her yoga practice, Angie's movement practice is also influenced by weight-lifting, mobility and flexibility skill work, calisthenics, contortion, pole dancing and more.
